So you know how that Pikachu Man ad has been taunting and terrorizing everyone on here recently right? Well a few minutes ago I saw the ad and, out of pure curiousity and boredom, I clicked on the ad to see what happens because why not.
And um…the ad led to this?
I have never been more concerned by something that is so very Tumblr. If this is the direction they’re going, then I don’t hate it.
I was trying to explain tumblr to someone who had never used it before and she said “So what do people post there? Videos, like on tiktok?” and it took all my self control not to say “Mostly we just post bullshit.”

That’s a very unsubstantiated rumor. There was an incident between a very small handful of people of very differing perspectives that included a lot of hearsay, and the few individuals who were bad faith actors were removed. The server is still very active and doing well.

No, you know what I’m coming back to this. Because it makes me extremely pissed off that people on here are so quick to defend white women tears without knowing the whole story. I can only confront an instigator so much before I’m fed up with the BS. So the one time I decide to just sever ties and be done with it, I’m then the angry black woman that ‘flipped out’?
And don’t act as if any of you passing these rumors around are any less of the problem because not one of you have bothered to come to me personally or bother to ask what was going on. Yet you’re quick to blow it out of proportion when clearly you thought 2 people I banned were actually 100. I choose to keep it between me and the people I have an issue with instead of being a brat just because people don’t like me. But that’s how it goes, isn’t it?
